Australian Aquaculture Products (AAP), is a privately owned company that has been operating an aquaculture business for 12 years.  The company consists of a 120 tonne RAS facility located in Euroa, Victoria, 200km NE of Melbourne.  Also a wild fishery and processing facility in Stratford, Victoria.

Process:

AAP sources Longfin and Shortfin glass eels from the rivers of Victoria and Queensland, at this stage of the lifecycle the eels are about 50mm long and around 7000 pce/kg.

AAP grow out glass eels to around 30cm, called elvers, where they are sold for further growth in eel farms in China, Indonesia and Australia.

AAP also target the lucrative live fish market in Asia, especially for the highly sought after large longfin eel (2kg+).

AAP produces large quantities of high quality Longfin and Shortfin eels for sale.  All cultured eels and elvers have been captured from pristine Australian waterways, and grown under controlled culture conditions using high performance certified aquaculture feeds.

AAP has a long history of successfully exporting healthy, disease free certified live eels into the Asian market.  A full range of sizes is available on request.
